Alex’s Jungle Mini Mural

Wild and free

Let’s go to the jungle now and see what we can find…

Kim had been watching my work since the beginning and really wanted a jungle themed mural for her little boy Alex. She got in touch and we agreed a budget that suited her and decided on a mini mural.

The room was painted beige which would be the base colour for the mural and Kim requested the animals which were Alex’s favourite – Elephant, Giraffe and Tiger.

The first thing that popped into my head when designing was to add some fun and have the giraffes head poking through the tree instead of just standing next to it. I drew out some quick initial designs and spoke through them with Kim and we decided the design.

This mural was quite a simple one to do in the end and took me 3/4 of a day to complete, once I’d finished I was able to move the furniture back and style ready for the reveal to Kim.

Kim choose to do a payment plan which we set out at the beginning of the project agreeing the amount and how many monthly payments were required to break up the cost.

This is what Kim had to say about the process and the finished mural:

All the family who have seen it, like it, the customer service was brilliant throughout kept me up to date and listened to and followed my wishes well! The service was very professional a good contract was set up and everything is true to word, the painting is ever so clever it’s just great to go to the room and have no horrid paint smells and be able to use his room straight away to. I love sitting by his bed pretending to be in the jungle reading away

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed seeing behind the scenes and the story behind this project.

Designed and painted with love
